Gold. Very large head on pour, good surface retetnion and OK to good lacing. Spiced fruitcake aroma - cloves? and/or cinnamon? spiced. Gingerbready. Christmas!

Gold. Large head on pour, good surface retention with some halo, very good lacing and layering. Syrup hop aroma, bit fruitcake taste and after. Last BrewDog Advent calendar beer, bit of a disappointment - I can seee WHY they made this the Xmas Eve beer, I've just had it a few times before...

Light copper gold. Good head on pour, with good retention and lacing. Medicinal fruit hop aroma. Similar taste, liquorice / aniseed after. Some sharp effervescence. I've had 'Happy Christmas', at 7.2%, and 'Hoppy Xmas' at 6% - which this seems to be, but this calls itself 'Hoppy Christmas'. Decided against introducing a third variant spelling...
